The Intelligent Computing Laboratory under Alibaba Group has recently launched an AI assistant tool called SmartVscode in the Visual Studio Code extension market. This tool utilizes the lab's self-developed application intelligent control framework, App-Controller, to enable direct natural language control of VS Code.

This feature is powered by the Motionshop model released earlier this year by Alibaba Tongyi Lab, which has attracted significant attention from creators worldwide since its launch.

Alibaba's Ali Tongyi announced on July 31 that it would freely open its AI model designed specifically for the Olympics. This model not only possesses specialized knowledge in the Olympic domain but also integrates Chinese-French translation functionality. Users can access this service for free through the Tongyi APP.

Ali Tongyi XR Lab has open-sourced new Text-to-3D models, which can generate corresponding 3D models and textures from a text description. The open-sourced models include two major models: Text-to-ND and Text-to-ND-MV. The Tongyi XR Lab has released the basic version of Text-to-ND as well as the Multi-View version to meet different fine-grained algorithm development needs. It also synchronized the open-sourcing of distilled versions from the large model.
